1959 Frigidaire Refrigerator-Freezer Tech-Talk Service Manual
Here is the comprehensive service manual to all 1959 Frigidaire Refrigerators. This is the year Frigidaire introduced fully frost-free models. Models included:
SA-9-59, SS-9-59, S-9-59, D-11-59, D-13-59, FD-1 04-59, FI-123-59, FI-122-59, CP-144-59, FP-124-59 and FP-142-59.
"THE WONDERFUL 1959 FRIGIDAIRE REFRIGERATORS Now with the advent of the wonderful new Frigidaire Frost-Proof Refrigerator-Freezer, a woman's life becomes easier than ever. For the first time she will have no frost to contend with. We hope you all have inspected a Frost-Proof that has been operating during the hot summer months and have seen how free of frost the packages and ice cube trays remain. You have only to see other refrigerators that depend upon push buttons for defrosting- to appreciate how much the absence of any frost means to the homemaker. In the Frost-Proof: • All of her frozen packages stay clean and free of frost. • Labels on the frozen food packages are always clear and legible. • All space is usable- none taken up by the frost. • Freezer baskets always roll in and out easily-no tugging to release frosted guides. • Ice cubes remain free of frost whether in ice trays or in the Ice Server. • Ice Cream stays free of frost on the surface of the un-used portion- yes, even if Junior leaves the lid ajar. • Counter-tops and tables stay dry and clean of frost marks or puddles of melted ice formerly left from grids or ice trays or frosty packages. But the advantage the homemaker appreciates most is the freedom from the messy job of defrosting! Remember that some of the women you talk to may never have experienced the messy job of defrosting a true food freezer-refrigerator. But every woman will have at least some experience with some kind of defrosting." |

1958-1959 Westinghouse Built-in Cooktop and Oven Owners Manual
Here are the owners manuals to the 1958 and 1959 line of Westinghouse Built-in Ranges (Cooktops and Ovens). Models include:
Cooktops: PJ-66, PJ-68,
Built-in Ovens: OL-17, OL24, OLR-17, OLR-24 With your Westinghouse Built-in Range you'll enjoy a new degree of cooking convenience. You'll be delighted at the way your favorite recipes turn out-and you'll be equally pleased with the wonderful way your new oven and surface units take the work out of cooking. There are two styles of Westinghouse built-in ovens, as well as three different surface cooking units. This booklet illustrates all styles and gives detailed instructions on how to use and care for them. So, we suggest that you read this book carefully and familiarize yourself with the features of your oven and your surface unit. Then you'll know how to make the best use of them. As you may notice in the illustrations, the main difference in Westinghouse built-in ovens is the size. Westinghouse surface cooking platforms were designed for versatility-one platform has four Corox surface units, while each of the others has two surface units and separate remote control panel. But, regardless of which oven or which style surface units you are using, you'll get best results every time, if you follow the directions given for their use. And you can be certain they'll serve you a long, long time, if you care for them as suggested in this booklet. |

Hoover Dial-A-Matic Service Instructions
Hoover revolutionized the vacuum cleaner industry when they introduced the Dial-A-Matic in 1963, with it's entirely different "clean-air" upright design. This is a comprehensive service manual that covers all of the Dial-A-Matic models, both self-propelled and non self-propelled. Step-by-step service instructions take you through complete disassembly of the machine, as well as disassembling and servicing the motor. Hoover again changed the vacuum cleaner industry in 1969, when it introduced the Self-Propelled Dial-A-Matic. This service manual also covers disassembling and servicing the actual power-drive transmission, which was at some point deemed too complicated and time-consuming to service, and was generally replaced as a complete unit if it deemed troublesome. There are some wonderful exploded views of the machine, motor, and power drive unit. Dial-A-Matic models include (non power-drive): 1100, 1110, 1118, 1120, 1130, 1136, 1140, 1149, 1151, 1157, U5007, U5007-001, U5015, U5017

The Owners Manual To The Very First Automatic Washer
How To Do Your Week's Wash Automatically Here is true automatic washer history. This owners manual is what was packed with every Bendix Home Laundry in 1937, they year Bendix introduced the automatic washer to the world! "Gone are the days when everything had to be washed, rinsed, wrung and ironed by hand. Gone is the back-breaking toil that made clean towels and sheets a luxury-that made an abundance of daily changes of body linen an extravagance almost unheard of. The housewife of today can be lavish with cleanliness. She can give her family plenty of fresh white linens-plenty of bright, clean clothes; for modern appliances have remade washday. Swift, scientific methods have replaced the long hours of drudgery that were once associated with the washing and ironing of clothes." |
