NO INSTALLATION

The G-E Mobile Maid needs no special plumbing or installation. Hot water enters, and used water drains away through the easy-to-use "UNICOUPLE" connector that snaps onto the hot water faucet of any kitchen sink. The G-E Mobile Maid plugs into any 115-volt A-C electrical outlet.

ROLL-AROUND CONVENIENCE

The Mobile Maid glides around quietly and easily on rubber-tired, ballbearing casters. It rolls to the table for loading . . . to the sink for dishwashing ... to storage cabinets for unloading. Perfect for apartments or rented homes, too. You can take it with you when you move.

FULLY AUTOMATIC

Just load everything - dishes, glasses, silver, pots and pans - into the Mobile Maid. Then connect it, and turn it on! That's all there is to it! ROOMY, ADJUSTABLE RACKS

You load the dishwasher quickly and conveniently from the top . . . without moving or sliding either rack. Special Vinyl plastic coating protects dishes and glasses . . . promotes quiet operation. Top rack adjusts up or down to provide room for extra-large plates in bottom rack, or extra-tall glasses in the top rack.

DOUBLE-DUTY DETERGENT CUP

This special G-E detergent cup measures the correct amount of detergent, and releases it automatically at the beginning of the "WASH" portion of the cycle. If double-wash action is desired (for example, in hard-water areas) the recessed bottom provides a convenient and accurate measure for adding extra detergent to the "PRE-RINSE" portion of the cycle.

BIG-CAPACITY SILVERWARE BASKET

Newly-designed basket holds up to a full day's load of knives, forks, spoons, and other ware. Loads easily-you put silverware in with sharp points down. Your hands never touch the greasy, messy ends of soiled silverware when you're loading the Mobile Maid.

SELECTIVE CONTROL

Single, easy-to-use control gives you completely automatic or manual operation of the Mobile Maid-whichever you prefer. You can skip or repeat portions of the cycle, as you choose.

SPECIFICATIONS

CABINET - The cabinet is made of heavy-gauge, welded steel processed for resistance to rust, and finished with two-coat, two-bake, white enamel. The control escutcheon, and cover-push plate are made of chromium-plated stainless steel. The tub and cover are of one-piece construction, without crevices, and finished in a high grade stain resistant porcelain enamel. The unit glides noiselessly on four 2" diameter ballbearing casters which have a soft, non-marking surface.

MECHANISM - The dishwashing unit is the same time-tested, proven design as used in the stationary dishwashers. The design includes such items as a heavy duty motor driving a self-cleaning impeller which circulates washing solution over the soiled dishes at the rate of 60 gallons per minute. A water control feature provides a powerful effective washing action without danger to the finest China or glassware.

CALROD® HEATING UNIT--A 750 watt Calrod electric heating element adds heat during the entire operation of the dishwasher, keeping water hot and maintaining high wash-rinse temperatures.

DETERGENT CUP - A covered detergent cup is provided which automatically releases the detergent at the proper time. An optional double wash feature is also incorporated.

AUTOMATIC CONTROL - An electric control is provided which automatically controls the entire operation of the dishwasher. It is adjustable and, at the option of the housewife, any part of the cycle may be skipped or repeated as desired. The control knob also indicates the phase of the operation cycle at all times. The "Mobile Maid" may also be used as a dish warmer.

CYCLE - The operating cycle is started by closing the cover securely and rotating the control knob a short distance to the right. The cycle consists of four separate parts: a preliminary flush rinse, a power pre-rinse, a detergent wash and two final rinses. Each phase of the cycle has a complete change of fresh hot water. The entire length of the cycle is 2 1 minutes. The "Mobile Maid" consumes six gallons of water per operation. At the end of the final rinse, the dishwasher shuts itself off, the top opens, and dishes dry quickly and sanitarily in their own heat.

DISH TRAYS - New, re-designed dish trays feature easy-loading of all types and shapes of dishes and utensils. The silverware basket is very spacious. Silverware is washed in a handles up position for maximum safety.

DISH CAPACITY-The dishwasher holds a family service for eight or a formal service for four, with adequate space for mixing bowls, pots and pans, etc. Exceptionally large glass capacity - can accommodate as many as 54 assorted glasses at one time.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS - A three-pronged plug (and special adapter) is provided to fit any type standard outlet. This plug will automatically ground the "Mobile Maid" during use. A high-quality, molded-rubber plug is provided for safety and long years of service. The cord stores neatly at the rear of the dishwasher and is approximately 71 " long.

WATER AND DRAIN CONNECTIONS-The water and drain connections for the dishwasher are made by means of two high-quality hoses approximately 40" long. Hoses terminate at the outer end in the "Unicouple" faucet connector. The "Unicouple" provides a quick connection to the faucet spout and also a discharge nozzle for the soiled water. When not in use, the hose is stored quickly and readily in the back of the dishwasher. In order to accommodate practically all faucets, a special set of adapters are furnished with each machine.
