How to Repair Appliances
Here is a wonderful book full of pictures and information of vintage washing machines and other vintage 1950's major and small appliances. This is the most complete book on appliance repair ever prepared for the home handyman. Automatic Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators, Vacuum Cleaners, Fans, Mixers, Toasters as well as special chapters are devoted to the proper use and repair of freezers, air conditioners, rotary ironers, waffle irons, grills and heating units. Before plunging into the repair of specific items, the author introduces the reader to the sources of power—electricity-—then covers the manner in which this power is transported to the home in a chapter on House Wiring.
