Know Your Sensi-Temp

Published by General Electric in 1968-- Here is a cute and whimsically drawn guide about using the automatic element feature of top of the line General Electric ranges. Sensi-temp was a thermostatically controlled burner sensor used from the 1950's through the 1970s. It consisted of a button sensor on the element that came in contact with the pot or pan being used and measured the temperature of the pan itself.
