Frigidaire 30" Ranges.

You'll be proud to add their elegant styling and innovative conveniences to your kitchen.

Page 2:

Top to bottom, Frigidaire 30" Ranges offer plenty of cooking flexibility, and cleaning ease.

With Frigidaire Touch-N-Cook Ranges, easy computerlike cooking is just a touch of the finger away. Whether you're baking, broiling, roasting or surface cooking, the revolutionary Touch-N-Cook Ranges follow your touched-in instructions on its solid state control panel with precision and accuracy. With the mere touch of your fingertip, you can program either model to begin cooking at a specified time and temperature. The Touch-N-Cook oven even changes its setting, automatically, to a holding temperature once cooking time has elapsed to keep your dinner warm until you're ready to serve it.

The Frigidaire Electri-clean Oven eliminates old-fashioned hand oveo cleaning; (leaves the oven, and drip bowls sparkling clean.)

Frigidaire takes the drudgery out of oven cleaning two easy ways. Self-cleaning Frigidaire Electri-clean models put an end to the messiest chore in kitchen: scrubbing and scouring the oven with costly cleaning agents. Crusty, baked-on food spatters are reduced to a mere trace of ash that wipes right out. You'll be surprised at how remarkably clean your oven gets . . . using only pennies of electricity!

Two Frigidaire 30" Ranges offer continuous-cleaning back and side panels that start making themselves presentably clean during normal baking and roasting. All panels, including a porcelain enamel bottom panel, slide out easily for sink-side cleaning when there's extra heavy soil.

RC-30 Continuous Cleaning

RGC-35 Continuous Cleaning with Cookmaster

Count on the Frigidaire Automatic Cookmaster to keep meals on schedule, even when the cook's away. With the Cookmaster, featured on most models, you can program your Frigidaire Range to start baking or roasting automatically at a preselected time and temperature, then automatically turn off the oven when time's up.

Inside every Frigidaire 23"-wide oven, enough room to bake as many as 6 pies or cakes at once. Besides delivering a full measure of baking space, every Frigidaire Range is equipped with two oven racks, adjustable to five different positions for more flexibility.

In a space just 30" wide, it's easy to install the double-oven cooking capacity and cleaning convenience of a Frigidaire Twin 30 Range.

Exclusive Frigidaire Radiantube surface units provide good contact with cookware, good use of energy. Because they're wide and flat Frigidaire Radiantube surface units on Model REG-637V provide positive contact with flat-bottomed pots and pans and help assure uniform cooking results at any temperature. To make the most of energy, their unique V-shaped design helps radiate heat upward to the cooking utensil where it belongs.

The Frigidaire Electri-clean Oven eliminates old-fashioned hand oven-cleaning.

With Frigidaire, you don't have to use a lot of electricity to save a lot of time. Thanks to the Electri-clean lower oven in both Frigidaire Twin 30 models, you can put an end to the messiest and most time-consuming chore in the kitchen: scrubbing and scouring the oven. Crusty baked-on food spatters are reduced to a mere trace of ash that wipes right out... for just pennies each cleaning cycle!

For the double oven cleaning convenience of Electri-clean Plus, just remove the panels from the upper oven of Model REG-639CV, and clean them in the lower Electri-clean Oven, automatically.

From Frigidaire, beauty with a practical purpose: easier cleaning. With the Frigidaire Ceramatop Twin 30 Range, you'll enjoy the beauty of an elegant, smooth ceramic cooking surface with no drip bowls or exposed surface units to trap grease and dirt.

You'll be able to use most of your own favorite flat-bottomed pats and pans, too, because no special cookware is required with the durable Ceramatop material.

Count on the Frigidaire Cookmaster to keep meals on schedule, even when the cook is away. With the Cookmaster, you can program your Frigidaire Twin 30 Range to start baking or roasting automatically at a preselected time and temperature, then automatically turn off the oven when time's up.

Rare of Well-done: Frigidaire gives you a choice when you're broiling meats. The

Broiler Grill control on model REG-639CV takes the guesswork out of broiling steaks or chops. Simply dial the degree of doneness you prefer: Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well, or Well.

To guard against scorching and boil overs, count on the Frigidaire "pot watcher." The

Heat Minder feature is a sensing device in the center of the right front surface unit of Model REG-637V that automatically regulates the temperature of a pot or pan, keeping it at the setting you selected.

For an extra measure of

kitchen convenience,

choose any Frigidaire 40" Range.

With Frigidaire, you don't have to use a lot of energy to save a lot of time. The

self-cleaning Frigidaire Electri-clean models-RE-45 and RE-47-put an end to the messiest and most time-consuming chore in the kitchen: scrubbing and scouring the oven, oven racks and drip bowls. Crusty, baked-on food spatters are reduced to a mere trace of ash that wipes right out. You'll be surprised how little it costs to operate, too-just pennies each cleaning cycle!

For extra oven cleaning convenience we call Electri-clean Plus, just remove the panels from the smaller oven of Model RE-47, and clean them in the larger Electri-clean Oven, automatically.

Another easy way to save time and effort: bake and clean at the same time.

If you prefer an oven with the continuous cleaning feature select the Frigidaire 40" Range with continuous-cleaning back and side panels that start cleaning themselves of ordinary food spatters during normal baking and roasting.

Frigidaire gives you a choice: an extra oven or extra storage space. Choose our double oven model, and get extra oven capacity plus the flexibility to bake pecan pie in one oven while you roast a large turkey in the other.

Count on the Frigidaire Cookmaster to keep meals on schedule, even when the cook's away. With the Cookmaster, you can program your Frigidaire Range to start baking or roasting automatically at a preselected time and temperature, then automatically turn off the oven when time's up. A real convenience when you can't be home just before dinner or supper.

Instead of an extra oven, our other 40" models offer a pull-out drawer for waist-level storage of pots, pans and other cooking utensils.

Whichever model you select, it features a full-width storage drawer underneath. Up above, a porcelain enamel workspace top with the Spill-Saver feature to help keep accidental spills on top for easy clean up.

Add an extra touch of elegance to your kitchen when you build in the cooking and cleaning conveniences of a Frigidaire Wall Oven.

With Frigidaire Touch-N-Cook Walt Ovens, easy computerlike cooking is just a touch of the finger away. Whether you're baking, broiling, or roasting, the revolutionary Touch-N-Cook Wall Ovens follow your touched-in instructions on its solid state control panel with precision and accuracy. With the mere touch of your fingertip, you can program it to begin cooking at a specified time and temperature. To keep dinner warm until you're ready to serve it, the Touch-N-Cook oven automatically changes its setting to a holding temperature once cooking time has elapsed.

The Frigidaire Electri-clean Oven eliminates old-fashioned hand oven cleaning. (Shown with porcelain enamel drip bowls.)

Frigidaire takes the drudgery out of oven cleaning. Self-cleaning Frigidaire Electri-clean models put an end to the messiest chore in the kitchen: scrubbing and scouring the oven with costly cleaning agents. Crusty, baked-on food spatters are reduced to a mere trace of ash that wipes right out. You'll be surprised how little it costs to operate, too!

With one continuous-cleaning oven model, normal oven soil on specifically treated side and back panels is gradually reduced to a presentably clean condition during normal baking and roasting. Of course, heavy spillovers must be wiped off the panels; the untreated bottom panel and door must be cleaned by hand.

RG-94 Conventional

Frigidaire takes the drudgery out of oven cleaning. Self-cleaning Frigidaire Electri-clean models put an end to the messiest chore in the kitchen: scrubbing and scouring the oven with costly cleaning agents. Crusty, baked-on food spatters are reduced to a mere trace of ash that wipes right out. You'll be surprised how thoroughly it cleans . . . using only pennies of electricity!

For a different kind of cleaning convenience, select a Frigidaire Compact 30 Range with continuous-cleaning back and side panels that start making themselves presentably clean during normal baking and roasting. All panels, including a porcelain bottom panel, slide out easily for sink-side cleaning when there's extra heavy soil.

Inside every Frigidaire 23"-wide oven, enough room to bake as many as 6 pies or cakes at once. Besides delivering a full measure of baking space, every Frigidaire Range is equipped with two oven racks, adjustable to five different positions for more flexibility.

Exclusive Frigidaire Radiantube surface units promote good contact with cookware, good use of energy. Because they're wide and flat, Frigidaire Radiantube surface units provide positive contact with flat-bottomed pots and pans and help assure uniform cooking results at any temperature. To make the most of energy, their unique V-shaped design helps radiate heat upward to the cooking utensil where you want it.

From Frigidaire, beauty with a practical purpose. With the Frigidaire Ceramatop and Touch-N-Cook Compact 30 Ranges, you'll enjoy the beauty of an elegant, smooth ceramic cooking surface with no drip bowls or exposed surface units to trap grease and dirt. What's more, no special cookware is required with this durable material.
Page 23:

There's more to Frigidaire styling than simply elegance. Behind the appealing black glass door panels on five models is a see-through window that lets you check on cooking progress without opening the door.

Frigidaire makes it easy to install cooking convenience in a kitchen. With models R-530, RG-533, RGC-533, RE-533 and REG-533CH you need only tour screws to hold the range firmly in place, once cutouts and electrical connections are complete. Adjustable front corner end caps hide minor cutout imperfections. Finishing off a between-cabinet installation is easy too, thanks to a Brushed Chrome back panel, (BP-30) available at extra charge.

The remaining 3 models-RE-537, REG-539C and REG-539CD-are even easier to install. For a clean, custom-installed look, easily adjusted control panel end caps help hide back panel cutout imperfections.

Frigidaire 30" Range Warranties give you peace of mind. Full One-Year Warranty, for

the repair of any defect or malfunction in the entire Range.

Full One-Year Warranty, for the repair of any defect or malfunction in the entire Touch-N-Cook Range. Plus, a Limited Warranty on any defective or malfunctioning part in the Circuit Board. Page 24:

Frigidaire Microwave Ovens. You'll be proud to add the convenience of fast, cool, clean cooking to your life.
Page 25:

Amazingly fast cooking is just one way a Frigidaire Microwave Oven can make your life easier.

In a matter of minutes, you can fix foods for breakfast, lunch or dinner with a Frigidaire Microwave Oven. From appetizers to desserts, you can cook many foods in up to 75% less time than it takes with a conventional range.

A 4-lb rib roast, medium, can be ready to serve in about 20 minutes, for example. Brown and serve rolls take just 20-25 seconds; corn-on-the-cob 4-6 minutes; a baked potato about the same time; and pineapple upside-down cake just 9 minutes.

From the freezer to the table in record time: that's microwave cooking from Frigidaire.

Frozen meats and casseroles can be ready to cook in a matter of minutes if you choose one of our microwave ovens with fast, automatic defrosting. Thaw a Cornish hen in less than 10 minutes; a pound of hamburger in 15 minutes; a 1-lb package of frozen fish filets in less than 10 minutes. Automatic defrosting: a convenience you'll particularly enjoy when unexpected guests drop in at dinner time or when you've forgotten to take dinner out of the freezer.

When you're in a hurry, Frigidaire adds time-saving convenience before the meal. When you're not rushed for time, make up large quantities of waffles, appetizers, casseroles and other dishes. Then freeze them in single meal containers for heating up later in your Frigidaire Microwave Oven when you're in a hurry.

Count on a Frigidaire Microwave Oven to help save energy and cooking costs. In addition to cooking in about 'A the time of conventional cooking, many foods can be cooked with 50 to 75% less energy. What's more, there's no energy wasted preheating the oven.

After-meal cleanup of messy pots and pans: it's cut down with a Frigidaire Microwave Oven. You'll often be able to mix, cook and serve in the same dish, reducing the number of pots, pans and other cookware to be washed.

In fact, with the exception of utensils and containers containing metal, there are few limitations to the type of cookware you can use. What's more, many frozen convenience foods can be cooked right in their containers or cooking bags, (after first puncturing them to allow steam to escape).

For your convenience, Frigidaire adds three microwave cooking speeds. Starting with Model RCM-5, you can select Low, Medium, or High microwave speed to match the foods you're cooking. To make it even easier to use your microwave oven, these three speeds correspond to the recipes in Frigidaire's Microwave Oven Cookbook, as well as other microwave cookbooks on the market.

Low is recommended for defrosting and simmering; Medium, for cooking certain meats and preparing cheese and egg dishes; High, for cooking most foods; frozen and fresh vegetables, bacon, fish, and beverages.

SOLID STATE COOK SELECTOR

From Frigidaire, the flexibility to tailor cooking speeds to different foods, different recipes. Our three top-of-the-line models feature an infinitely adjustable Cook Selector that lets you choose the proper speed for a variety of cooking chores: keeping foods warm, melting butter, simmering soups, roasting meats, reheating casseroles, and of course, ordinary cooking.

For fast microwave cooking with computer like accuracy, choose our Touch-N-Cook model. With the touch of a finger on the control panel, you can program Model RCM-9 to change its settings automatically. For example, once you've touched in instructions, it will remember how long to defrost, allow for "holding" time to assure even thawing throughout, then cook for the proper length of time, automatically.
