Roast-Right Thermometer . .. Enables you to roast meat and fowl exactly the way you want it every time, without over-cooking or under-cooking - eliminates guesswork. Just set gauge on Black Magic control panel for proper temperature (beef, rare 140°; pork 180°; etc.), insert probe in food, turn on oven and forget it. Buzzer signals when food is done.

Rota-Grill Rotisserie ... Now, you can enjoy outdoor - style barbecue treats right in your own kitchen. Dependable electric motor automatically turns meat and fowl at ideal speed for uniform grilling. Self-basting for juicier, more flavorful foods. Skewer and rack are easily removed when not in use.

Black Magic Control Panel... Distinctively styled control panel conveniently located at eye-level for easy reading and use. Includes Roast-Right thermometer; temperature controls, switches and indicator lights for both ovens; pushbuttons for Rota-Grill Rotisserie and interior light; and combination automatic timing clock and minute timer for automatic cooking and timing household activities.

BLACK-MAGIC BI-LEVEL OVEN MODEL RLG701

Two complete ovens in a single unit that costs less to buy and install than two separate ovens and requires no more wall width than a single oven. Each oven has separate bake and broil units and separate controls - enables you to bake or roast foods at different temperatures at the same time, and bake or roast while you barbecue or broil. The Super Oven on top with its large capacity cooks a complete meal for up to 24 people, roasts a 40-pound turkey. Thrift Oven below is ideal for smaller quantities of food and for warming. The banquet-size capacity of both ovens totals over 7200 cubic inches. Modern straight-line styling with contrasting black appointments gives you an oven as fashion-wise as it is functional. Super-Matic Cooking Unit .. . Automatic left-rear 8-inch unit has thermostat control on Black Magic backpanel so that you can set it like an oven to maintain the temperature you want -foods won't burn, boil over or under-cook. Unit can be used in deep-well for automatic French-frying and simmering. Raised, it enables you to fry, boil or even percolate coffee automatically with ordinary utensils. Can be regulated by pushbutton to provide 6-inch heat pattern for smaller utensils.

Automatic Mealtimer ... Shuts off any cooking unit automatically at the time you select. Rings a pleasant chime reminder when selected cooking time has expired. Mealtimer can also be used as a convenient chime-timer for other household activities.

Calrod Cooking Units .. . Unit at right front is the Super "2600" that heats instantly at the touch of a button. Two units feature interwound coil design for even, over-all heat at each setting; fourth unit (right rear) has a special concentrated heat pattern that quick-cooks small quantities. New "stay-up" hinges keep units up out of the way for quick removal of aluminum reflector pans and easy cleaning around trim rings.

Color-Lighted Pushbuttons ... Easy-to-operate pushbuttons light up in different colors to show which of'the 5 measured heats is in use. Each bank is color-keyed to the unit it controls. The "T" button provides automatic time control through Mealtimer.

Deep-Well Thrift Cooker ... Six-quart aluminum kettle is ideal for soups and stews. Exclusive Handi-Lift Lid can be used to raise Super-Matic Unit to surface even when unit is hot.

DROP-IN MODEL RN301

Hotpoint's most compact four-unit surface section fits into all 24-inch, and most 21-inch base cabinets and is designed for use where space is limited. Pushbuttons provide 5 measured heats for each unit by remote control and each of 4 banks of pushbuttons is color-keyed to a medallion at the center of the unit it controls. Large unit is instant-heating Super "2600" Calrod. Interwound coil design and small-utensil pattern are also featured in this model. Cooking top has exclusive squared mounting frame that secures it tightly to the countertop, sealing out spilled liquids, crumbs, etc. Available in stainless steel, Coppertone and 4 Colortones.

DROP-IN MODEL RN101

This model fits into a 30-inch base cabinet, and costs less to buy and install than any other model. And, it offers many of Hotpoint's most wanted features. The unit on the right is the super-quick Super "2600" Calrod that heats instantly. Three units have the interwound coil design; the fourth (front) has the special small - utensil heat pattern. Silver-contact Rota-Switches provide 5 measured heats for each unit, and each is color-keyed to medallion in center of unit it controls. Note: Dimensional drawing shows appliance installation in a minimum of space, with bottom louver at floor line, cabinet elevated 2%" above floor and top louver butting top of cabinet trim.

Installation . . . The appliance must be elevated from the floor on supports a minimum of 2% inches. However, for simplification, it is recommended that standard dimensional framing lumber be used-either one 4 x 4 at each side of the cutout (3%" elevation), or two 2 x 4's (ZVi" elevation).

Venting . . . Matching louvers are offered as accessories for installation at top and bottom of the appliance to provide natural-draft ventilation for the condenser. Bottom louver must be a minimum of 3%" from bottom of cabinet trim. Otherwise, louvers may be placed where desired, as long as there is no restriction to air circulation through the condenser. Louvers may be eliminated where equal or greater air flow can be provided in another way.

Recessed Hinging . . . Door is hinged to open within width of appliance and does not require extra wall space.
